the law of kindness

She opens her mouth with wisdom, and on her tongue is the law of kindness.

Proverbs 31:26

My mother was this way. She was a very wise woman. She taught me that if I want a friend, be a friend; it takes two to tango (the fight with my brother wasn’t really ALL his fault); ignore teasing instead of reacting to make it go away; if you can’t say something nice, don’t say anything at all; treat others just they way you want to be treated yourself. The law or torah of kindness … how to succeed with others instead of fail. So simple … do nice things … say nice things … be kind … be respectful … show love. The Torah is in fact the reference book of how to show love to God and and neighbors. Thank you, Mom. One day I will wish you Happy Mother’s Day in person again. ♥

marvelous things without number

"But as for me, I would seek God, And to God I would commit my cause -- Who does great things, and unsearchable, Marvelous things without number."

Job 5:8-9

I give You praise, glory, and thanksgiving Father! For You have done GREAT THINGS for us! You have redeemed us by Your mighty power and Your right arm! You have taken Your great power and reigned! I will rejoice and ever sing for joy, because of the mercy, lovingkindness, and faithfulness of Almighty God, our Rock!

his glorious voice

The Lord will cause His glorious voice to be heard.

Isaiah 30:30

The Lord will cause His glorious voice to be heard,
And you will have a song in the night.
Come to the mountain of the Lord!
See His glory and His might!

He’s the Mighty One of Israel!
He’s the Mighty One of Israel!
His voice shall be heard in the power of His Word!
He’s the Mighty One of Israel!

The eyes of the blind shall be opened and they’ll see
The ears of the deaf shall hear
The lame man shall jump and shall leap as a hart!
The tongue of the dumb shall sing!

He’s the Mighty One of Israel!
He’s the Mighty One of Israel!
His voice shall be heard in the power of His Word!
He’s the Mighty One of Israel!

The Lord shall cause His glorious beauty to be seen
The desert shall bloom and rejoice!
Say to them that are fearful of heart:
“Be strong, and listen to His voice!”

He’s the Mighty One of Israel!
He’s the Mighty One of Israel!
His voice shall be heard in the power of His Word!
He’s the Mighty One of Israel!

sabbath of rest

Work shall be done for six days, but the sevenths is the Sabbath of rest, holy to the Lord.

Exodus 31:15

I am so grateful today for the Sabbath of rest! It is a pure gift of grace to be able to shut the door on work and its accompanying stress and worries, and to rest, to trust, to be at peace, to be still and know that my Abba Papa is God and therefore able to take care of that which concerns me, for one day out of seven, so I can chill! ♥

the resurrection and the life

But now Christ is risen from the dead, and has become the firstfruits of those who have fallen asleep.

1 Corinthians 15:20

Hallelujah! Messiah Yeshua has triumphed over sin, death, and all the power of the devil! Now the same Spirit that raised Him from the dead, dwells in me (Rom 8:11)! Death has lost its sting, and the grave, its victory (1 Cor 15:54-55)! Earth and all who dwell therein, do not weep – for the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, has triumphed (Rev 5:5)! He will wipe every tear from our eyes, and there will be no more death, or sorrow, or crying, or pain, for the former things have passed away forever (Rev 21:5). Thank You Father! ♥
